Rather than talk about coming down from my rush, which by the way is no fun, I thought I'd post something in a more positive spin.
Vegas.
Booked.
April 18th to April 22nd.
Me + Mrs Blood.
The Signature at MGM Grand.
Monday, the 21st, I turn 40. (Did I just type that?)
Figure it's all downhill from there. Might as well spend some time enjoying the descent.
the two dentists will be there at the same time
ReplyDeleteTheTrooper97 welcomes you to the Holy Land
ReplyDeleteI turn 32 the following day. Taurus born people are just plain better than everyone else.
ReplyDeleteSorry Blood, I have to point out the typo! You seem to have a 4 mistakenly typed in, where there should surely be a 3.
ReplyDeleteSilly blogger!
Bullshit. I'm doing better now than ever and I'm closer to 50 than 40. Keep the faith brother!
ReplyDeleteLucky you. Vegas, not 40. I am jonesing to go back.
ReplyDeletegod you are old, bro.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest doing a lunch at Emeril's place. Had a very decent steak there.
ReplyDeleteAm 49 next month, kiddo.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe I'll be there the 12 through the 17th?
ReplyDeleteThe Signature at the MGM is the SHIT! Nice choice!
ReplyDeleteOMG 40...
ReplyDeleteI leave Vegas on the 19th. Call me on Friday night, I"ll be done with everything and meet up with you.
Happy Birthday!!! 40's a piece of cake.
ReplyDeleteI second the Emeril's suggestion. Not being a reservation person I have discovered that at Emeril's during the week you don't always need one, and that they serve their full menu at the bar. Craftsteak has a scotch flight menu if you are into that.
If breakfast is more your meal of choice I recommend Bouchon at the Venetian. Hard to find (take elevator behind reception desk). Best breakfast ever, not cheapest.
I'll be there the same time 19-23 if you want to meet up.
ReplyDeleteOld Man,
ReplyDeleteI'm hitting the big 40 myself in October. Would you believe I'm heading back from Vegas on the 17th? I'm afraid I'll miss you there. Have a fun time.
